Description

WAV recordings can be brought to a more consistent loudness before editing, archiving, or burning to audio media. This command-line tool analyzes audio levels and adjusts volume so files sit closer to a chosen standard.

It is useful for people handling many WAV files, old recordings, or mixed-volume tracks. It works from the terminal and changes audio files, so keep originals when you need an untouched copy.
