Description

Static files can be served quickly from a directory with a zero-configuration command-line HTTP server. It is useful for local previews, simple file sharing, and development tests.

Serving a directory can expose files to other devices depending on binding and firewall settings. Start it only in directories meant to be shared and stop it when finished.
