HTTP serving and proxy workflows can use an nginx build patched to omit the HTTP Server header. It is useful for administrators who want less version or server-identification detail in responses.
Removing a header does not replace real hardening. Keep nginx patched, review TLS and access controls, and test compatibility with clients and monitoring tools.
