Description
Adds GeoIP2 lookup support to Nginx, typically using MaxMind-style databases. It lets configurations use IP-based location or network metadata in variables, logs, routing, or access logic.
Use it when Nginx needs GeoIP2 data and the database licensing and update process are understood. Location results are approximate and should not be the only basis for sensitive decisions.
