Description

Wired network interfaces can react automatically when Ethernet cables are plugged in or removed. It is useful for systems that need lightweight link-state handling without a full desktop network manager.

This daemon can bring interfaces up or down in response to hardware events. Administrators should verify interface names and scripts so cable changes do not disrupt the wrong connection.

How to run

netplugd

Commands: netplugd
