Description
Broken mute LEDs on some HP laptops can be corrected with a small hardware-state script. It is useful when the keyboard or chassis indicator no longer reflects microphone or speaker mute state correctly.
Hardware helpers may need device permissions and can behave differently by laptop model. Test on supported HP models and avoid assuming it fixes all mute-button problems.
