Local Maildir email can be indexed and searched with the development version of mu and its mu4e Emacs workflow. It helps advanced email users test current changes while keeping fast local search and Emacs integration.
Development builds can change index format or client behavior. Back up mail and index data before switching versions on an important mailbox.
