Current development mpv playback features can be tested in a build with broad optional library support. It helps advanced users try new media-player behavior while keeping access to many codecs, subtitle formats, and scripting features.
Git builds can break or change behavior between updates. Use stable builds when reliability matters, especially for presentations, kiosks, or production playback.
