Description

Routes MPD playback to a selected PulseAudio sink instead of the desktop default, helping users send music to separate speakers, virtual outputs, or room-specific audio paths. It is useful when MPD should not follow the normal system output.

Audio routing can be confusing if device names or defaults change. Confirm the target sink and test volume levels before relying on it for unattended playback.
