Computes photonic band structures in periodic media from the current MIT Photonic-Bands source code. It is useful for researchers or developers who need recent changes while modeling electromagnetic modes in scientific studies.
Use the git build when development-branch behavior is acceptable. Scientific results should be validated against known cases, documented inputs, and the exact version used for computation.
