Inspects technical MP3 details and edits older ID3 1.x tags from the terminal. It is useful when a user needs quick bitrate, length, layer, or basic metadata information without opening a full music library manager.
Tag editing changes the file, so work carefully on important collections. ID3 1.x is limited compared with newer tag formats, and some modern players may prefer other metadata fields.
