Presents FLAC music as MP3 files through a FUSE filesystem, letting devices or applications that expect MP3 access a converted view without permanently duplicating the library. It is useful for compatibility with players that do not handle FLAC well.
FUSE mounts and live transcoding can affect performance and file visibility. Unmount cleanly after use, and remember that the MP3 view is a generated representation, not the original lossless audio.
