Bootswatch themes can be applied to MkDocs documentation sites for a different visual style. Documentation maintainers use mkdocs-bootswatch to extend MkDocs sites without writing custom build code.

It is an MkDocs plugin, not a standalone documentation editor. Generated documentation should be reviewed before publishing because plugins can change navigation, links, metadata, or output files.
