Cross-built programs for this multilib target can link against the matching GNU C library. Developers use this package as part of a complete MIPS64 Linux GNU toolchain.
It is a target runtime library, not a host system libc replacement. Mixing it with the wrong compiler, ABI, or sysroot can produce unusable binaries.
