Description
MATE desktops can use the Linux Mint-style application menu for launching apps and browsing common system entries. Users install mintmenu when they prefer that menu layout over the default MATE menu.
It is a desktop menu applet, not a full desktop environment. It only affects the panel/menu experience after being added to a compatible MATE panel.
