Description
S3-compatible object storage can be hosted locally or on private infrastructure. Administrators and developers use MinIO for buckets, backups, application storage, CI artifacts, and testing software that expects S3 APIs.
It is a network storage server, not a desktop file manager. Configure credentials, TLS, bucket policies, backups, and network exposure before storing important data.
