Description
Small private certificate authorities can be created for environments where the same operator controls the CA and every host using its certificates. Administrators use minica for local labs, internal services, and simple TLS setups.
It is a CA tool, not a public certificate authority. Protect the CA key carefully because trusting it gives certificate authority over the systems where it is installed.
