Description

Pkg-config metadata can be used more easily in MinGW-w64 cross-compilation workflows. It helps developers point build systems at Windows-targeted libraries without hardcoding every include path and linker flag.

Cross-compilation metadata must match the intended architecture and dependency set. Wrong pkg-config paths can silently link against the wrong libraries.
