Legacy NVIDIA 390xx driver detection needs PCI identifier data so MHWD can offer the right older driver branch. This package supplies the database entries used for GPUs that still depend on that driver series.
It is driver metadata, not a program to launch. Correct matching matters because installing an unsuitable graphics driver can break display output or make recovery harder.
