Description
System memory can be tested before the operating system starts by booting a standalone EFI diagnostic application. It helps users investigate crashes, data corruption, instability, and suspected RAM problems outside the normal desktop environment.
Memory tests can take a long time and require rebooting. They do not repair faulty hardware; repeated errors usually mean RAM, firmware settings, or hardware compatibility needs attention.
