Description

Kernel hotplug events can be handled by a small daemon that reacts when devices appear, disappear, or change state. It is useful for minimal systems that need udev-like device event handling with a smaller service.

This is system infrastructure, not a visible app. Device rules can affect hardware availability and permissions, so test configuration carefully before replacing an existing hotplug manager.
