Description

Mediated devices on Linux can be defined and controlled for hardware sharing workflows such as virtualization, GPU partitioning, or VFIO-related setups. It is useful for administrators configuring advanced device assignment on supported hardware.

This is a low-level system management tool. Incorrect mediated-device configuration can break virtual machines or hardware access, so verify device support and keep recovery access available.

How to run

mdevctl

Commands: mdevctl
