Description
Supported M-Audio and Midiman USB or MIDI devices can receive the firmware they need to work on Linux. It is useful when older audio hardware is detected but cannot operate until firmware is loaded.
Firmware loading is hardware-specific. Confirm the exact device model and use the correct firmware files, because wrong firmware can leave the device unusable until it is reconnected or reset.
