Description

System logs can be stored in RAM to reduce disk writes.

This package is useful for administrators who want a ramlog-like setup on systemd systems, especially on storage-sensitive devices. It changes log storage behavior, not log analysis.

RAM-backed logs can disappear after reboot or crash. Use only when reduced disk writes matter more than persistent logs.

How to run

log2ram

Commands: log2ram
