Executable files can be inspected, parsed, modified, or instrumented through a dedicated binary-format library.
This package is useful for developers, reverse engineers, packagers, malware analysts, and security researchers working with formats such as ELF, PE, Mach-O, or related metadata. It does not edit binaries automatically; parent tools decide what is read or changed.
Binary instrumentation can break programs or alter security behavior. Work on copies and use only on files you are allowed to analyze or modify.
