Software that depends on Xerces-C 3.2 can continue parsing and validating XML documents.
This legacy library is useful for applications that have not moved to a newer XML parser ABI. It does not provide a user-facing editor; consuming software uses it for structured document processing.
Untrusted XML can trigger excessive resource use or unsafe behavior if parser settings are careless. Review entity, schema, and size handling in the parent application.
