Description
Video-processing applications can use Intel media acceleration APIs through the development version of oneVPL.
This package is useful for transcoders, streaming tools, media servers, and video applications that need Intel GPU-assisted processing. It does not add a video editor or player; other software uses the library for encode, decode, or processing tasks.
Hardware support depends on Intel GPU generation, drivers, codecs, and application integration. Test with real media workloads before production use.
