Text tools can look up Unicode character names and annotation data through a library.
This package is useful for developers building character maps, editors, font tools, accessibility helpers, or diagnostics that need human-readable Unicode information. It does not add a character map application by itself.
Use it when software depends on libunicodenames or when building text tools that explain Unicode characters to users.
