Description
Applications can read compressed archives such as RAR, TAR, and ZIP through a lightweight decompression library.
This package is useful for readers, file managers, backup tools, comic viewers, and importers that need archive support without implementing each format. It does not add an archive manager by itself.
Archives can contain many files, path tricks, or unexpectedly large extracted data. Parent applications should validate paths and resource limits.
