Description
Applications can manipulate TIFF images with support from the LERC-enabled library build.
This package is useful for software that needs TIFF handling, especially workflows where LERC compression support is expected. It does not add a separate image editor; another program uses the library while opening, saving, or processing image data.
Use it when required by imaging, GIS, scanning, or conversion software. Very large or untrusted TIFF files should be handled with resource limits and trusted tools.
