Video tools can read and write subtitle files in several common formats through a small C++ library.
This package is useful for applications that need subtitle import, export, conversion, synchronization, or packaging support. It does not add a subtitle editor by itself; another program uses the library to handle formats such as STL, SubRip, and DCP.
Use it when media software depends on libsub or when building subtitle workflows. Check timing and encoding after conversion because subtitle mistakes can make videos hard to follow.
