Audio applications can test or use the development version of a cross-platform C99 sound I/O library.
This Git package is useful for developers who need the latest libsoundio code for recording, playback, synthesizers, or audio plugins. It does not add a separate audio app; consuming software uses it to communicate with audio devices.
Choose it only when the development version is required. Microphone capture and playback risks come from the application that uses the library.
