MAME 2016 arcade emulation lets libretro front ends run content matching the MAME 0.174 era. It is useful when users need newer arcade compatibility than MAME 2003 while staying on a known core version.
This is an emulator core, not a ROM set. Users should use legally obtained content compatible with MAME 0.174.
