MaxMind DB file access helps applications read IP geolocation or network metadata databases stored in the MMDB format. It is useful for analytics, security tools, localization, and traffic handling that need IP-to-data lookup.
This is a database file library, not a live geolocation service. Results depend on the database source and freshness, and IP-derived location should be treated as approximate.
