KML geodata support from the Git branch helps developers test current handling of geographic placemarks, paths, overlays, and map metadata. It is useful for GIS tools and converters that track upstream libkml.
This is a development library, not a mapping app. Geospatial output should be checked before use in navigation, field work, or public data publishing.
