Input-device management from the libinput Git branch helps compositors and desktop sessions handle mice, touchpads, keyboards, tablets, and other input hardware. It is useful for testing current upstream input behavior.
This is a core desktop input component, not a settings panel. Development builds can affect pointer, keyboard, gesture, and tablet behavior, so users should keep a rollback or alternate input path available.
