Modern internationalized domain-name handling helps applications process Unicode domain names according to IDNA 2008 and TR46 rules. It is useful for browsers, mail tools, network clients, and validators.
This Git build is a library, not a network client. Applications should still display domains carefully because Unicode look-alikes can be used for phishing or user confusion.
