Description
Huge-page memory access helps performance-sensitive applications use larger memory pages to reduce overhead in selected workloads. It is useful for databases, virtualization, scientific computing, and low-level performance testing.
This is a system library and tooling package, not a general speed booster. Huge pages require kernel and system configuration, and incorrect use can reserve memory that other applications need.
