Description
Firebird provider support lets libgda-based applications connect to Firebird databases through the same database-access framework. It is useful when a desktop or tool already uses libgda and needs Firebird backend access.
This package does not install a Firebird server. Users still need valid database credentials, network access when remote, and normal care before changing production data.
