Description
DAP protocol support helps applications access remote scientific datasets without downloading every file manually first. It is useful for climate, ocean, geospatial, and research tools that work with OPeNDAP services.
Developers and scientific applications use the library to request structured data over the network. It does not add a general data browser; the visible workflow comes from the program that uses libdap.
