DataLink protocol support helps scientific data tools exchange streaming time-series data with compatible servers. It is commonly relevant around IRIS-style seismology and sensor-data workflows.
This is a developer library and dependency, not a data viewer. Users normally install it when another application needs DataLink access; network endpoints and credentials are controlled by the calling software.
