Smart-pointer style memory handling from the development branch helps C projects test newer libcsptr changes. It is aimed at codebases that want automatic cleanup patterns while tracking upstream Git.
Developers and packagers should choose this only when they need the unreleased version. It does not change memory handling for installed applications unless those applications are built against it.
