Description
OpenPGP prompts help desktop applications ask for encryption, signing, or key-related confirmation in a consistent way. The library is part of the user-interface layer around PGP operations, not the cryptographic key store itself.
Most users receive it with older GNOME or security-related applications. It does not add a standalone encryption app; software that uses it may request passphrases or key choices, so prompts should be checked carefully before confirming.
