Description
Applications can access Gemalto smart cards or tokens through a PKCS#11 driver. This supports certificate-based login, digital signatures, and cryptographic token workflows.
It is security hardware middleware, not a certificate manager. Token access can authorize sensitive operations, so use trusted applications and protect PINs or unlock prompts.
