Description
HDMI-CEC devices can be controlled from Linux through Pulse-Eight libcec support. This helps media centers send or receive TV, receiver, and remote-control commands over HDMI-CEC.
It is hardware/protocol support, not a media center by itself. CEC behavior varies by television and receiver, so test power, input, and remote-control actions before relying on automation.
