Description
Smart-card authentication and signing workflows can use Bit4ID/Oberthur middleware to communicate with supported cards. This helps applications access certificates, tokens, or identity credentials stored on smart-card hardware.
It is security hardware middleware, not a password manager. Smart-card access can authorize real signatures or logins, so use only trusted applications and protect PIN entry.
