32-bit dynamically linked programs can have their TCP connections redirected through SOCKS or HTTP proxies without native proxy support. This helps testing, privacy routing, and network troubleshooting for legacy applications.
It changes network paths for launched programs and can expose credentials or traffic to the chosen proxy. Use only trusted proxies and verify that DNS and non-TCP traffic behave as expected.
