32-bit input software can normalize multitouch events from the Linux kernel into the slotted type B protocol. This helps touchpads, touchscreens, and gesture-aware applications handle multitouch data consistently.
It is input infrastructure, not a gesture settings app. Device behavior still depends on the kernel driver, desktop stack, and application using the normalized events.
