32-bit GNOME and GTK applications can perform HTTP client or server communication through a shared networking library. This supports downloads, web APIs, authentication flows, and embedded local web services.
It is a network library, not a browser. Applications using it may send data over the network, so privacy and TLS behavior depend on the program and its configuration.
