Description
32-bit applications can control FireWire/IEEE 1394 cameras through a dedicated camera library. This is useful for machine vision, lab equipment, older industrial cameras, and capture tools that still use that bus.
It is hardware access support, not a camera app by itself. Device permissions, kernel support, and cable/controller compatibility determine whether a camera can be controlled reliably.
